Since its establishment, Kobe University Graduate School of Law has been one of Japan's leading social science education and research institutions, contributing to the academic development of law and political science.

Building on this tradition, we continue to educate our graduate students with the aim of developing problem-solving skills that will enable them to respond to the demands of society and to make contributions on an international dimension.

KIMAP in Global Business Law is one of the programs established with the aim of fostering such human resources. It is designed to welcome students from Japan and around the world as a program that enables students to earn a Master's degree through classes taught in English. Another important feature of the program is its multidisciplinary nature. Upon completion of the program, students can obtain a certificate in an interdisciplinary field, together with an LL.M. degree.

Three Fields

The high proportion of faculty members to students is one of the characteristics of our university. This means that the students and the faculty members are very close to each other and that the faculty is able to provide a more personalised education. In addition, the faculty members are all leading researchers in their respective fields and conduct research on a global scale. We are confident that our students' interest and intellectual curiosity will be stimulated by the education on offer.

The Rokkodai campus is in an excellent location. It overlooks Kobe Harbour and Osaka Bay. On this beautiful campus, we are creating a place of learning that values human relationships.
